The celexon Cinch digital audio cable transmits digital stereo and multi-channel audio signals in the best quality and is therefore ideal for connecting input and output devices with a digital SPDIF connection.
With the help of the coaxial SPDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface) interface, the audio signals are transmitted uncompressed and lossless . Digital coding using PCM (pulse code modulation) also allows analog stereo signals to be transmitted uncompressed.
Analogue RCA cables are not suitable for the digital transmission of these electrical signals because their impedance is only 50 ohms. An impedance of 75 ohms is required for the electrical transmission of digital signals. This difference leads to dropouts, especially with longer cables.
Thanks to the high degree of shielding, the cable is optimally protected against interference such as interference from mobile phones and other radio sources. However, its small diameter means it offers a high degree of flexibility in handling. Nothing stands in the way of your unrestricted enjoyment of music.
