Since our founding in 2003, we have repeatedly set milestones in the world of home cinema and presentation technology, which reflect our development and our tireless drive for innovation. We are particularly proud of that!
That's how it started.
The founding
Matthias Hemesath (*1983) and Christoph Hertz (*1984) gained experience in e-commerce and in the conception and implementation of websites while they were still at school. Shortly after graduating from high school, her first business idea focused on marketing projector screens and ceiling mounts.
A new chapter in home cinema and presentation technology was opened in Emsdetten in 2003. There Christoph Hertz and Matthias Hemesath founded celexon, a company that was to have a significant influence not only on the German but also on the European market in the following years. With a clear vision and passion for innovation, the two founders laid the foundation for a brand that today stands for quality, progress and customer satisfaction.
School redesigned.
New products
2005 was a crucial year of innovation and expansion for us at celexon.
We have expanded our product portfolio to include document cameras, which are becoming increasingly indispensable for teaching and presentations. We have also introduced pylon systems for schools to meet modern educational requirements. But that's not all: we have further expanded the area of educational communication and added innovative board systems to our range. With these expansions, we have continued to focus on our customers' needs and solidified our role as a leader in the AV industry.

Expansion abroad
Since celexon was founded, our goal has always been to open up new markets. Our solid base in Germany offered the perfect starting point for ambitious expansion. It was only a matter of time before we turned our attention to our neighbors and recognized the enormous opportunities in Europe.
Our expansion into these neighboring countries of Germany demonstrates not only our commitment to growth, but also our ability to understand and serve cultural and market nuances. It is this mix of ambition and adaptability that has made celexon a preferred name in the European AV industry.

Expansion of the warehouse & office
This year we made extensive expansions in Emsdetten.
Our warehouse capacities have not only been expanded to meet increasing demand, but also equipped with the latest technology and optimized warehouse management systems. This allows us to shorten delivery times and increase customer satisfaction.
At the same time, we have decided to expand our office space. The new, contemporary designed workplaces are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also offer our employees an inspiring and productive working environment. This step reflects our belief that satisfied employees are the key to sustainable corporate success.

The impressive logistics center extends over 11,000 m² in North Rhine-Westphalia. From here, more than 1,500 different item numbers from the celexon range are available
