This modular furniture system combines masterful craftsmanship with technical sophistication – its magnetically attached panels allow colors and materials to be changed at any time, making it easy to adapt the furniture to new style worlds.
In combination with the Leica Cine 1, an ultra-short-throw laser TV masterpiece in iconic Bauhaus design, it creates a unique living and entertainment experience. The ensemble is complemented by the celexon UST high-contrast screen, which rises elegantly from the furniture and remains almost invisible when not in use.
Together, these components merge into an aesthetic overall concept that unites technology and design in perfect harmony. The Kettnaker SOMA is an innovative furniture system that impresses with its virtually unlimited design possibilities. One of its unique features is the separation of surface and structural body: the exterior appearance can be changed at any time without altering the actual furniture structure. The panels are held in place by magnets, allowing them to be easily exchanged – making it simple to adapt color and material to new interior styles or personal preferences. In addition, SOMA is available in various sizes, widths, and heights, enabling flexible integration into any living concept.
The Leica Cine 1 is a Bauhaus-inspired masterpiece of modern entertainment technology – lightweight, slim, and minimalist in design. As an ultra-short-throw laser TV, it offers 4K resolution, supports Dolby Vision, and delivers an impressively sharp, vibrant image thanks to its Triple RGB laser and Leica Summicron lens. Leica Image Optimization (LIOTM) ensures perfect picture quality. With 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Cine 1 achieves brilliant brightness, while Dolby Atmos surround sound provides an immersive audio experience. Available in 100” or 120”, it stands out with its timeless, elegant design featuring an aluminum housing, automatic dust cover, and a refined speaker grille.
The celexon UST High-Contrast Floor Scissor Screen – HomeCinema Plus represents the latest generation of ultra-short-throw projection technology and is perfectly suited for seamless furniture integration. In combination with a modern UST projector, it transforms into an impressive laser TV with a screen size of 80–120”, disappearing almost completely from view when not in use. Its elegant housing design, featuring an electric protective cover and integrated carrying handles, impresses as much as the durable aluminum scissor-lift mechanism. The new “micron scale black grid” CLR fabric delivers brilliant colors, deep blacks, and up to 20% higher brightness – making it the ideal TV replacement, even in bright daylight.
The celexon electric laser TV drawer enables space-saving and fully automatic integration of ultra-short-throw projectors into furniture – with no structural modifications required. The fully electronic lift extends and retracts the projector precisely and whisper-quietly, controlled via remote or trigger signal. 150 Years of German Engineering Tradition
The Leica brand has its origins in Wetzlar, Germany, where it was founded in 1869 by Ernst Leitz as Optische Werke Ernst Leitz. The name Leica was later derived from the combination of “Leitz” and “Camera” – a term that today stands worldwide for supreme optical precision and iconic design.
As early as 1913, Oskar Barnack developed the first prototype of the Ur-Leica at Leitz, a 35 mm film camera that revolutionized photography and established the modern small-format standard.
In 1986, the company was renamed Leica Camera GmbH, marking its evolution into an independent premium manufacturer. After decades in Solms, the company returned to Wetzlar in 2014 – to the modern Leitz Park, an architectural masterpiece that unites tradition, innovation, and design expertise under one roof.
