The celexon active HDMI cable with Ethernet is HDMI 2.0 compliant and therefore transmits signals at up to 18 Gbps with resolutions of up to 4K (4096x2160p @60Hz with 8 bit color depth) and 4K HDR with 10 bit color depth . With the help of HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, a larger dynamic and color range can be displayed, making the image more brilliant and detailed.

The difference to the standard HDMI cables with Ethernet lies in the powerful signal amplifiers built into the connector.
As the cable length increases, the line resistance in the cable and the cable attenuation increase. This negatively affects the signal quality.
This is particularly problematic for the transmission of high data rates, since without amplification the signal at the end of the cable becomes too weak to be displayed clearly.
This results in either image errors in the form of digital artifacts or the entire image and data connection breaking down completely.
For this purpose, a special chip is installed in the active HDMI cables from celexon that amplifies the signal with 6 Gbps per TMDS transmission line, enabling lossless signal transmission over longer distances. The active HDMI cable from celexon is available in lengths of up to 20m.

The additional Ethernet channel enables the connection of internet-enabled AV components to the home network using just an HDMI cable. It is therefore sufficient if the television is connected to the network via cable. The AV receiver or Blu-Ray player then receives the network via HDMI cable in addition to the actual video signal. This means that a network switch and additional cables are not required.*
