We developed celexon Screen HomeCinema Tension for all film enthusiasts and home cinema lovers. We have placed as much emphasis on functional components and useful features as we have on an elegant design, the use of high-quality materials and an excellent price-performance ratio.
Projection fabric
We have equipped the new HomeCinema electric screen with a fibreglass fabric support that has been optimised for high-resolution content. Full HD or 4K content is displayed in as much detail as your projector emits it.
This ensures a particularly long service life – unlike pure PVC fabrics, our fibreglass carrier is significantly more temperature stable (please note the enclosed information). In addition, it is equipped with an anti-mould coating and has an antistatic effect.
A very homogeneous and detailed image reproduction with a wide viewing angle makes our ‘TYPE D’ projection screen (= diffuse reflection) the ultimate choice for all living room cinemas. The gain of 0.9 (according to DIN1945-4) has deliberately been chosen to be ‘neutral’ so that colour values are not distorted (as can happen with fabrics with a higher gain) and optimal contrast values can be achieved for matt-white fabrics; the image, however, appears holistically homogeneous and with a brilliance typical of a cinema.
Components
The built-in, dimensionally stable spiral winding shaft effectively prevents horizontal banding. In addition, the heavy weight bar, in addition to the lateral rope tensioning system (Tension System), ensures optimal flatness and effectively prevents ‘dog ears’ in the projection area. Adjusting screws incorporated laterally into the caps of the weight bar allow the tension system to be retightened if it has lost tension after a few years.

Our HomeCinema Tension Motorised Screen - MWTH is supplied with a wide range of accessories and can be operated in a variety of ways ‘out of the box’:
Conveniently from a distance using the included radio or infrared remote control;
automatically using a trigger cable to control your screen simply and conveniently via the trigger output and the switching state of your projector.
Professional integration via RS232 protocol or potential-free contacts for control via media control systems is also possible.

Design
The extruded aluminium housing in an elegant ‘drop design’ blends in well with modern living environments. It is finished in white, including the side caps and the white weighting bar. This means that it remains discreet on white ceilings and does not disturb the ambience of the room, especially when retracted.
Installation
The HomeCinema Tension motorised screen - MWTH can be installed quickly, easily and securely. The dimensionally stable aluminium tube is attached with two flexibly positionable mounting brackets that are suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting. The mounting brackets can be positioned anywhere along the housing as required. Alternatively, the screen can also be mounted ‘hanging’ on chains (not included), using the eyelet rings provided.
